Time to visit Lemon Creek Wildflower Preserve....
Birding with Ken Blackshaw: On March 31, from 8:00 am - 11:00 am, join us for a casual birding tour with Ken Blackshaw. Ken has been birding for nearly 70 years all over the world. He has written and edited numerous books, and was fortunate to have Edith Andrews as his mentor. Birders of all levels are encouraged and welcome to join us as we marvel and uncover the little or lesser known facts about the birds at Lemon Creek Wildflower Preserve. Please bring your binoculars, cameras, water bottles, sunscreen, and bug repellent. Come prepared for a hike on rough trails. Wear comfortable, protective attire, especially footwear. Please note that this walk begins at 8:00 a.m.

Both programs begin at the Lemon Creek Wildflower Preserve parking lot located at 3120 Gasparilla Pines Boulevard, Englewood, 34224.

Your quest for learning is an asset to our chapter!

I was excited to find a family of them a few years ago on Old Burnt Store in a preserve.
