Join Tony Licata as he reveals the results of our annual Christmas Bird Count. A slideshow prepared by Bill Marr will accompany Tony’s presentation.

The Christmas Bird Count is true citizen science as the national Audubon organization collates all the data and uses it to show population changes over the past 116 years since it first began.

The count was held on Saturday, December 19th and encompassed a fifteen mile diameter circle, the center point being approximately downtown Punta Gorda.
