General Meeting with “Florida Exotic Species – Tegus” Presentation

The Peace River Audubon Society September meeting on Thursday September 19, 2019 will feature Tyson Dallas of the FWC presenting on Florida Exotic Species – Tegus
TYSON DALLAS was originally from St. Louis. Tyson studied woodpeckers at the University of Illinois and was a wildlife biologist for Fort Polk Army Base after college. He moved to Florida two years ago to help manage nonnative wildlife in SW Florida for the FWC. For the presentation, he will discuss management and Identification of Tegu lizards and other nonnative wildlife in Southwest Florida.
All are welcome for light refreshments at 6:30 for a half-hour social time followed by the program at 7:00 PM.
Meetings are held monthly from September through May on the third Thursday of the month at First Alliance Church 20444 Midway Blvd, Port Charlotte FL 33952
