FIELD TRIP – Archbold Biological Station, Lake Placid

In order to attend this field trip you must register with both Phyllis Cady, the local coordinator, and with the Archbold Biological Station. Please contact Phyllis at 941-286-7638 or at ps_cady@yahoo.com, that’s ps_cady. Leave your email address and she will send you the link to register.
Each person must register as there is a limit of 25 people.
For those who choose to stay for the afternoon, there is an optional buggy tour of a working cattle ranch located 8 miles east of the biological station. There will be a $20 fee per person to view the ranch wildlife and learn about Florida’s ranch lands. There is a limit of 15 people for this adventure so you must register. When you sign up for the free guided walking tour there is an option to sign up for the Ranch Buggy Tour and you will be asked to pay by credit card at that time. You can also choose to order a $7 bag lunch or bring
your own.
