It was great to see both the Cooper’s Hawk and Barred Owl hunting in the park!

Pinecraft Park is always a great birding spot and sorry that we missed it. We got to meet our brand new great-granddaughter that day! You saw a lot of special birds at Pinecraft!

This was an announcement to the individual chapters. “Although our Board decided this week to keep our organizational name, we want to emphasize that chapters are independent entities with the authority to make their own naming decisions. Whatever your chapter’s name, we hope to work closely with you to move forward as one unified community dedicated to protecting birds and the places they need. “

National Audubon sent out a survey to many of its members so we could participate in the decision.

Why would any person of color join an organization that honors a racist white slaver? Please explain this offensive decision.
