Our first PRAS meeting of the season was a great success. We had a nice crowd and many reported that our speaker, Jerry Waters, did a fabulous job with his talk about Insect Ecology. Everyone also thought that our new meeting room was spacious and worked well. Thanks to Bren and Sandy for the photos.

FROM ARCHBOLD BIOLOGICAL STATION- We mourn the passing of
DR. REED BOWMAN (1958-2023)
We are deeply saddened to share news of the unexpected passing of our dear friend and colleague, Dr. Reed Bowman, on September 18, 2023.
After 32 years working at Archbold, Reed retired recently and was enjoying his new status as Emeritus Research Biologist of Avian Ecology. He was a cherished member of our Archbold family. His legacy of scientific curiosity and knowledge, joyful conversation, wonderful photography, and lasting friendship will remain forever at Archbold and far beyond. Our deepest condolences to his wife Charlotte, son Seth, and daughter Mei.
