Everyone is invited to celebrate the New Year at one of the best birding sites in Port Charlotte. This is a very pleasant walk, guided by Stu and Louise Lewis, around Ollie’s Pond. A good amount of species are always seen. Current sightings include Common and Purple Gallinule, American Coot, Ring-necked Ducks, Whistling Ducks, Pine and Yellow-rumped Warblers, along with some of the more common songbirds and water birds..
