General Meeting – with Birds of Sanibel Beach presentation

“Birds of Sanibel Beach”  is the topic to be presented by Audrey Albrecht, Shorebird Program Coordinator/Biologist at Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation (SCCF)
Audrey is originally from coastal Connecticut and graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a B.S. in wildlife conservation biology and management in 2006. Before joining SCCF she worked on numerous conservation projects including working with Virginia Tech on a project assessing the impacts of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill on wintering Piping Plovers in coastal Louisiana and Texas. This project led to 2 more years of monitoring, banding, and re-siting Piping Plovers, Least Terns, and Snowy Plovers in South Dakota and Nebraska for Virginia Tech. Please come to meet Audrey hear her interesting program.
